Description: We took this video production shoot out to the coast to immerse the consumer in the blissful beauty of the great outdoors.This is the first commercial we made for RV outlet. We shot the video footage in Pismo with 2 cameras. We had an HVX200 with a RED Rock 35mm adapter and a set of Nikon Prime lenses. We also had our Sony Z1U HDV camera shooting HD footage. It is very important to shoot HD footage even if you are not delivering in HD because that leaves options in post for Resizing, Reframing, Stabilizing, Improved Keying and Improved Color Correction Capabilities. Will Quiram our in-house Voice Over talent did the Voiceover for us. We overcranked some of the HVX200 footage in camera and slowed some down even more in Post Production. Truth be told, the day we were in Pismo was very dreary and dark and we really were only able to get some color and life to the footage when we did rotoscoping, keying, and a lot of colored gradients. We did a lot of stabilization on the editing of the last shot with the surfboards and we were happy to make something smooth from the rocky, bumpy terrain that we had to shoot on.
