Brandon Walker, a firefighter and EMT in his community of Fairview, Tennessee, talks about his reaction when he was told his friend, Jeremy Menear, nominated him for the Kaplan University #StartAChange Scholarship.
Jeremy shares his reasons for nominating Brandon and why he felt Brandon would be a worthy recipient of a college scholarship. Jeremy discusses the tremendous potential he sees in Brandon and why he believes a college degree will help Brandon impact the lives of other firefighters and his community.
